This introduction to the Chamber is for new and prospective members. This networking opportunity is open to all existing Chamber members as well. If you just need a refresher in Chamber 101 or have new employees who are interested in the benefits your Chamber membership holds, Please join the Ambassadors on November 23rd 5:30-7pm. There is NO COST to attend, but please RSVP so that we know you're coming.

"Road Show Comes to the GPGLCC"

A-Z Appraisal and Estate Consultants, Tom Helms~ will not only chat with you about values, but if you would bring an item of interest, we will do a “road show”. The first 15 members with items will be showcased! In fact, we will bring some “stumpers” that will keep you guessing?

Do not bring any jewelry or art as time does not allow the proper research.

This is going to be a FUN & Learning Experience to ALL!

If you need it appraised, we can do the job for you. Estates, equitable distribution, donations, inventory are just a few of our specialties. We have worked in vacate barns to 15,000 square feet houses from Arizona to points west. No job is too small, too big, or too far.

Give us a call when you want to take the guess work out of it!

Join us for a magical evening under the stars at the Scottsdale Hilton Villas where the GPGLCC will present its first annual Festival of Trees. The evening will be poolside under twinkling lights and in the setting of a winter wonderland.

Twenty-one trees and wreaths and 4 menorahs have been sponsored by local companies and will be raffled off for charity. And if you win the raffle, beautifully decorated trees, wreaths or menorahs will be delivered to you the following day at the location of your choice. Raffle tickets are $5.00 and proceeds benefit AZ Animal RESCUE and 1n10, an organization for at-risk gay youth.

What better way to celebrate the season than to enjoy these iconic holiday decorations while at the same time supporting our community?

You are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy or art supplies that will be donated to Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s Child Life Center. To date, the GPGLCC has been the largest toy donation organization to the Hospital in its program’s history. These donations provide much needed fun throughout the entire year.

So join us for an evening of holiday merriment. Enjoy scrumptious food including carving stations and a pasta bar as well as delicious cocktail creations, all while enjoying musical performances by local gay & lesbian choirs. This is the holiday season event you won’t want to miss!

About AZ Animal RESCUE

AZ RESCUE has to make heart-wrenching decisions every day. Combing county shelters, they have to choose among the pets on the day’s “kill list,” for those they will save. In many cases the animals have been neglected and abused but still have that spark of kindness and love that may be their last chance to survive.

RESCUE has saved nearly 10,000 animals from extermination since its inception in 1995. Dogs and cats are medically treated, spayed and neutered and placed in foster homes so they can acclimate to their new environments. Potential adoptees are carefully screened and pets stay in the program forever. The program is so successful that it is being recognized on The Rachel Ray Show among similar programs in the U.S. who will compete for funding in a contest voted on by viewers.

About 1n10 Youth Services

1n10 Youth Services is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving and assisting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth. They provide youth with tools to improve self-esteem and acceptance of who they are. The youth 1n10 works with range in age from 14 to 22. A safe space, both mentally and physically is provided for youth of all socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Programs include mentoring, drop-in, counseling, music programs and opportunities for youth to give back to their community.

Annual TOY DRIVE

It that time again. The Greater Phoenix Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring their annual Toy Drive to benefit The Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Last year, we raised over $25,000.00 worth of toys and art supplies……the largest single donation made to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital in their history. This year we need to do it again. Due to the nature of the economy this year, the Hospital is in need of unwrapped toys and Art Supplies to fill their cupboards. We can do it. Please help put a smile on a child’s face.
